Overview

This certificate incorporates sound theoretical foundations of autistic spectrum disorders and current best practices in assessment, communication and intervention. Candidates learn basic concepts in autism research and education that are the foundation for understanding the patterns of behavior, social abilities and language difficulties that unfold in students with autism spectrum disorders.
