The special education program offers coursework for the early childhood special education certificate. This certificate authorizes special education credential holders to expand their age service opportunities to include the ages newborn to five years old.

  • Three letters of reference
  • Academic writing sample
  • Proctored writing sample
  • Verification of current negative TB test within the last 12 months
  • Certificate of clearance
  • Official transcripts of all institutions attended verifying BA/BS degree
  • Level I Education Specialist Credentials
  • Up to 9 current units may be transferred into the program
  • Letter of explanation if your GPA is under 3.0
